What if I encounter connection problems?
There are two main reasons as to why the program does not connect:
your firewall and/or your wireless router.
If you have a firewall, which most of us do, ensure that the systems
settings in the control panel are disabled to allow the program
through. Norton can also be a culprit. Make sure you lower its
settings as well.
A wireless router by Belkin or Linksys can block certain ports that
the Ares
software needs to connect. Port forwarding is required to establish
connection. Simply supply us with your wireless routers' brand name
and model number and we will help you properly configure your
router.
